Public Mobile, a Telus-owned company, recently made changes to its rewards program, causing some customers to leave. To entice these customers back, Public Mobile is offering ‘winback’ deals, but are they doing enough?
One such offer includes 15 Public Points (equivalent to $15) that can be used towards monthly payments and add-ons. However, some customers feel that this offer falls short of winning them back. The email promoting this deal fails to mention any special plans, only highlighting $0 eSIM activations and starting plans at $15/month.
Starting in May, the legacy rewards program will be replaced by the new Public Points program. While this change has sparked complaints from dissatisfied customers, Public Mobile is working to address these concerns.
If you have received a ‘winback’ offer from Public Mobile or experienced any changes in their rewards program, we’d love to hear from you. Share your thoughts and experiences with us as we continue to follow this story. Stay tuned for more updates on Phones Canada’s blog.
