Samsung Ditches AMD: Introducing In-House GPUs in Exynos 2600 SoC

Samsung is gearing up to unveil its latest Exynos 2500 chipset this year, marking a significant milestone for the brand. This new application processor (AP) will be the first to be produced by Samsung Foundry using its advanced second-gen 3nm process node. Here’s why the Exynos 2500 is generating buzz in the telecommunications industry:

– The Exynos 2500 chipset is expected to outperform its rival, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, due to its efficient design and manufacturing process.
– Samsung Foundry’s use of Gate-All-Around (GAA) transistors on its 3nm silicon gives it a competitive edge over TSMC’s technology.

Excitingly, renowned leaker Roland Quandt has hinted at a major update for the upcoming Exynos 2600 chipset – Samsung will introduce its own GPU instead of using AMD’s RDNA GPU.
