Unveiling the Latest Pixel 9 Leaks: Concerns Sparked by Disappointing Tensor G4 Benchmark Results

The Pixel 9 lineup is making waves months before its official release, with benchmark tests revealing interesting details about Google’s upcoming 2024 handset. Here’s what we know so far:

– Recent benchmark tests suggest that the Pixel 9 might not be as powerful as its predecessor, the Pixel 8, which features the Tensor G3 chipset.
– The Pixel 9 appeared in the Geekbench database with an 8GB RAM variant, scoring 1653 points for the single-core test and 3313 points for the multi-core test.
– These scores are lower than what the Pixel 8 with Tensor G3 achieved, raising concerns about the performance of the upcoming device.
– While it’s still early days and these results could potentially be fake, Google has time to optimize and improve the Pixel 9 before its release.

Looking ahead:

– If the Tensor G4 chipset in the Pixel 9 doesn’t meet expectations, users might stick with their current devices and wait for the Tensor G5 in 2025.
– The Tensor G5 is expected to offer significant improvements over its predecessors, with Google customizing it fully and utilizing advanced technology from TSMC.

In previous benchmark tests:

– The Pixel 9 Pro XL was recently spotted on Geekbench, scoring 1378 points for single-core and 3732 points for multi-core tests.
– AnTuTu benchmark results from June showed that the Pixel 9 series scored between 1,071,616 and 1,176,410 points. This compares to around 900,000 for the Pixel 8 series.

Stay tuned for more updates on Google’s upcoming Pixel devices as we get closer to their official launch!
