Phones Canada is thrilled to announce that Xbox will be making a big splash at Gamescom, one of the premier gaming events worldwide. The company recently confirmed its participation, promising its “biggest booth yet” at the convention, scheduled from August 21 to August 25.
In an exciting update shared on social media, Xbox revealed its return to Gamescom, following the successful Xbox Games Showcase earlier this month. The focus at the event will be on showcasing a range of games featured during the conference, building anticipation for upcoming releases.
Leading up to the launch of several games in the second half of the year, Xbox is preparing to showcase a diverse lineup at Gamescom. Some of the titles confirmed for the booth include:
– Age of Mythology: Retold
– Avowed
– Ara: History Untold
– Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred
– Diablo Immortal
– The Elder Scrolls Online
– Fallout 76
– Towerborne
– World of Warcraft: The War Within
And there’s more to come! Many of these games are either highly anticipated releases scheduled for 2024 or ongoing titles with exciting updates on the horizon. For example, Avowed is tentatively set for “Fall 2024,” while Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred DLC is set to launch on October 8th.
Gamescom will also provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about upcoming titles like Ara: History Untold and Towerborne. Players may even get a chance to try out these games hands-on before their release dates. Ara: History Untold hits shelves on September 24th, while Towerborne is still awaiting a confirmed release date.
In contrast, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced it will not be participating in Gamescom this year. Nevertheless, attendees can look forward to engaging with numerous large publishers and indie developers at the event. Kicking off with Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley on August 20th, this gaming extravaganza promises excitement and surprises for all participants.
