Unlock the Power of Visual Voicemail: iPhone Usage Soars by 60% on iPhone in Canada Blog

At Phones Canada, we strive to keep you informed about all the latest updates in the telecommunications industry. Today, we bring you news of a recent price increase from Koodo, a Telus-owned carrier. Koodo has raised the price of its iPhone Visual Voicemail add-on by 60%, now priced at $8 per month.

Previously, Visual Voicemail was available for $5 per month, but recent billing statements have indicated a $3 increase to $8 per month. This change may impact customers on various plans, as shared by an iPhone in Canada reader on a $29/30GB plan in Quebec.

Visual Voicemail is a handy feature that simplifies managing voice messages on your phone. With just a tap and press of a button, you can listen to messages without the hassle of dialing extra numbers or following lengthy instructions. However, with the introduction of iOS 17, Live Voicemail emerges as a free alternative to Visual Voicemail. While Live Voicemail offers similar functionalities, it may not work when your iPhone is unreachable or turned off.

If you’re a Koodo customer, it’s essential to review your bill and take note of this price adjustment for Visual Voicemail. Additionally, Koodo has recently increased the prices of select Black Friday plans, while Virgin Price has also made changes to its plan pricing on the website.
