Meizu recently made an announcement that they are shifting away from the smartphone business. However, this doesn’t mean they are disappearing completely. In fact, they have introduced a new budget-friendly 5G smartphone called the Blue 20, which is packed with AI features reflecting Meizu’s focus on artificial intelligence.
The Meizu Blue 20 is set to release soon in three different colors, although pricing details and availability are yet to be disclosed. One of the standout features of this phone is its AI-powered tools that allow users to generate photos, chat with a bot, and utilize AI-assisted writing.
In terms of specifications, the Meizu Blue 20 may not boast top-of-the-line hardware like their previous flagships. It is equipped with a Unisoc T765 processor and comes in two storage variants – 6/128GB or 8/256GB. The phone features a standard 6.52-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for everyday use.
The camera setup on the Blue 20 includes a 50-megapixel main camera at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Additionally, the phone houses a decent 5,010 mAh battery and offers convenient features like a 3.5mm audio jack port and microSD card slot (supporting up to 2TB).
Running on Meizu’s proprietary Flyme AI OS, the Blue 20 will be exclusive to China. Despite not being as powerful as Meizu’s previous flagship models, this new smartphone caters to users looking for affordable yet feature-packed options in the market.
