Apple is making waves in the entertainment industry with a record-breaking 72 Emmy nominations for its Apple Originals this year. The company’s streaming service has garnered recognition across various categories, showcasing its commitment to delivering top-notch content to viewers.

One of the standout shows, “The Morning Show,” received an impressive 16 nominations, including its first-ever nod for ‘Outstanding Drama Series.’ The series’ third season also secured the most performance nominations for any drama series, with 10 acting nods for stars like Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and other talented cast members.

Another Apple Original, “Lessons in Chemistry,” earned 10 nominations, marking the first limited series from Apple to receive Emmy recognition. This achievement includes a nomination for ‘Best Limited Series’ and acting nods for Brie Larson, Lewis Pullman, and Aja Naomi King.

Other Apple Originals like “Slow Horses,” “Silo,” and “Hijack” also received well-deserved nominations. With a total of nine nominations for “Slow Horses” and additional nods for “Silo” and “Hijack,” Apple continues to showcase its diverse range of compelling content.

Apple TV+ specials and documentaries also made their mark with notable nominations. Standouts include the documentary “STEVE! (martin) in 2 pieces” with five nominations and the special “Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas.”
