Breaking News: Freedom Mobile’s Expansion Reaches 50 New Cities in British Columbia and Alberta! Discover the Latest Updates on Telecommunications with Phones Canada

We are thrilled to announce that Freedom Mobile has extended its service to 50 more cities in British Columbia and Alberta, providing over 250,000 additional Canadians the opportunity to join the wireless revolution. Some of the new service areas include Chilliwack, Hope, Salmon Arm, Camrose, Edberg, and many more.

Thanks to the CRTC’s mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) framework, Freedom Mobile has been able to expand its reach further and recently launched in Manitoba as well. This expansion aligns with the demands of consumers across Canada for more competition in the wireless market.

As Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor (Freedom Mobile’s parent company), stated, "We’re delighted to bring Canadians the benefits of having a robust fourth player in the market."

In addition to expanding its service areas, Freedom Mobile has been actively enhancing its 5G coverage and launching new cell sites nationwide. The deployment of 3500 MHz spectrum on various cell sites is poised to deliver faster speeds and lower latency for customers.

What sets Freedom Mobile apart is its competitively priced Canada-US plans like the $34/50GB Canada-US 5G plan, which few other providers can match. As we approach Black Friday, we eagerly anticipate seeing if there will be even better deals than last year.
