Warranty Policy

At Phones Canada, we prioritize transparency and customer trust. The following outlines our warranty policy for products purchased from our inventory and auctions:

Products Sold “As-Is”

  • General Inventory: Most of our products are sold “as-is”, meaning they do not include any warranties, express or implied, beyond what is explicitly stated in this policy.
  • Auction Inventory: All products sold through our auctions are sold “as-is” and do not include warranties. Buyers are encouraged to review product descriptions carefully before placing bids.

Limited Warranty Coverage

For inventory purchases (excluding auction items), we offer a limited warranty only under the following conditions:

  1. iCloud or FRP Lock Issues:
    • Devices sold as “unlocked” will not have active iCloud locks (for Apple devices) or Factory Reset Protection (FRP) locks (for Android devices).
    • If a lock issue arises and the device is proven to have been locked at the time of purchase, Phones Canada will provide a resolution.
  2. Network Locks:
    • Devices listed as “unlocked” will not be carrier-locked. If a network lock issue is identified, we will resolve it or provide an alternative solution.
  3. Blacklist Issues:
    • Phones Canada ensures that devices sold are not blacklisted at the time of sale.
    • If a device is discovered to be blacklisted after purchase and it can be confirmed that it occurred prior to the sale, we will provide a resolution.

Warranty Claim Process

To submit a claim for iCloud, FRP, network lock, or blacklist issues:

  1. Contact Support: Reach out to us at [insert customer support email/phone number] with your order details and a description of the issue.
  2. Provide Documentation:
    • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation).
    • Evidence of the issue (e.g., screenshots of blacklist status, error messages, or carrier communications).
  3. Resolution Timeline:
    • Claims will be assessed within 5-7 business days of receiving all required information.
    • If the claim is approved, a resolution will be provided (see “Resolution Options” below).

Resolution Options

If your claim is approved, the following resolutions may be offered:

  • Device Unlocking: We will resolve the iCloud, FRP, or network lock issue if possible.
  • Blacklist Resolution: If a device is blacklisted, we will attempt to resolve the issue or replace the device.
  • Replacement: If the issue cannot be resolved, a replacement unit may be provided (subject to availability).
  • Refund: If no resolution is possible, a refund will be issued based on the original purchase price.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Devices purchased through our auctions.
  • Physical damage, cosmetic wear, or operational defects unrelated to iCloud, FRP, network, or blacklist issues.
  • Any software-related issues, including operating system corruption or third-party app conflicts.

Final Sale Clause

  • All sales are final unless explicitly covered by the limited warranty described above.
  • Buyers are advised to inspect product details carefully before purchase or bidding.
