Apple Discontinues FineWoven iPhone Cases and Watch Bands – Find out Why!

At Phones Canada, we believe in finding the perfect balance between protection and style for your smartphone. Recently, I made the decision to go case-free with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Despite a few minor drops, my phone remains in pristine condition and feels amazing in hand.

The case I was using before going naked was the Apple FineWoven case that came with our iPhone 15 series review units. While it didn’t offer as much protection as I typically prefer, it still managed to keep my phone safe during accidental drops. However, after a short period of use, the case started to look worn out and dirty.

Now, news has surfaced that Apple has halted production of the FineWoven cases for iPhones and bands for Apple Watches due to durability issues. Many users online have shared similar experiences with these cases, noting their below-par quality compared to Apple’s usual standards.

Moving forward, Apple is rumored to be exploring non-leather materials for future cases. As for me, I am continuing my experiment with the naked iPhone 15 Pro Max and loving how solid and premium it feels in hand. While there is a risk involved in going without a case, the confidence I have in this device makes it worth it.

If I ever decide to use a case again on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, you can rest assured that it won’t be a FineWoven one. At Phones Canada, we understand the importance of finding the right balance between protection and aesthetics for your smartphone.
