Apple Services Crash After Meta Outages: What It Means for Your Device

Recently, there have been some disruptions in the digital world that might have left you feeling a bit out of touch. Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Facebook Messenger all experienced outage issues, but thankfully, these problems have since been resolved. Meta even classified the incident as a “Major Disruption” on its Business API Status page.

– 25,000 WhatsApp users reported issues at noon yesterday
– 68% of complaints were related to app functionality
– 26% of users were unable to receive messages

Not only were social media platforms affected, but Apple services also faced some challenges yesterday. There were brief outages globally, but Apple has already addressed and resolved these issues.

– The App Store experienced problems in multiple regions
– Apple TV+ and Apple Music saw issues at the peak of the outage in the United States
– Around 6,400 users reported App Store issues
– Fitness service Apple Fitness+, Arcade, Audiobooks, Books and Podcasts were also impacted

Users in countries like the United States, Britain, India, China and Australia were affected by these outages. While it was certainly a trying day for digital services, rest assured that everything is back up and running smoothly now. Stay connected!
