Breaking: Pixel 9 Series Revealed with Impressive Benchmark Scores and Tensor G4 Configuration!

Introducing the latest Tensor G4 application processor (AP) set to power this year’s Pixel 9 series – Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Exciting news is on the horizon as Google gears up to fully customize the Tensor chips starting with the G5 in 2025. Plus, there’s a shift from Samsung Foundry to TSMC for production, utilizing its cutting-edge second-generation 3nm process node.

Here’s why you might want to hold off on upgrading to a Pixel 9 model and wait for the Tensor G5-powered Pixel 10 series handset next year:

– TSMC is known for producing more powerful and energy-efficient chips compared to Samsung Foundry.

Benchmark tests unearthed by Rozetked via AndroidAuthority shed light on what to expect from the Tensor G4:
– Cortex-X4 Performance CPU core clocking in at an impressive 3.1GHz
– Three Cortex-A720 Performance-Efficiency CPU cores running up to 2.6GHz
– Four Cortex-A520 Efficiency CPU cores reaching speeds of 1.95GHz

One notable upgrade from the current Tensor G3 powering the Pixel 8 series is the faster clock speeds and reduced number of cores in the Tensor G4.

AnTuTu scores reveal some exciting insights into the performance of the upcoming Pixel devices:
– Pixel 9 scored an impressive 1071616
– Pixel 9 Pro followed closely with a score of 1148452
– The top spot goes to Pixel 9 Pro XL with an outstanding score of 1176410

Comparing these scores with previous models like close to 900000 for Pixel 8 and 1142984 for Pixel 8 Pro showcases significant improvements in performance. Even my iPhone 15 Pro Max scored lower at AnTuTu with a score of1548952.

Keep in mind that these AnTuTu tests were conducted on non-final software versions, so we can expect even higher scores upon release in October.

Exciting times lie ahead for Google’s upcoming flagship devices – stay tuned for more updates on Phones Canada!
