Phones Canada is excited to announce the upcoming release of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Version, a new variant of the popular camera-centric smartphone. Speculations about a satellite connectivity version emerged as early as November 2023, and now, three months later, they are becoming a reality.
Details about the Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Version were spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium platform (via 91mobiles). This satellite-enabled device will share most of the features with its non-satellite sibling, but with different charging speeds.
The Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Version is expected to launch in China in March. This version has received the license for wireless power-sharing from WPC with the listed model being PHY120, while the regular Find X7 Ultra has the model number PHY110.
In terms of charging speed, the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Version is expected to have a load power of 11W, which is significantly lower than the 50W wireless charging capability of the standard variant.
Despite the differences in charging speed, the rest of the phone’s specs should remain the same between the two versions. The Oppo Find X7 Ultra features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with Adreno 750 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. Additionally, it boasts impressive camera capabilities, including Sony’s latest LYT-600 sensor for the main unit, two periscope cameras for 3x and 6x optical zoom, and a 50MP wide shooter.
Stay tuned for further updates on the release of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Version.
