Exciting News! Waiting times for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are Shortening

Delivery Lead Times for iPhone 15 Series Improving

If you haven’t ordered your new iPhone 15 series handset yet, you may be pleased to know that delivery lead times are starting to come down. According to J.P. Morgan’s Product Availability Tracker, which provides shipping data to Morgan clients, there has been a decline in delivery lead times over the past week.

During the third week of shipments, the delivery lead times improved by four days, with the biggest improvements seen in the shipping times for the iPhone 15 Pro models. However, the delivery lead times for the non-Pro models remained largely unchanged.

Global delivery lead times for the iPhone 15 Pro models have also started to decrease. In the third week, the lead time for the iPhone 15 Pro was 29 days, down from the previous week’s 36 days. The iPhone 15 Pro Max still had a longer wait time of 46 days, but this was an improvement from the previous week’s 54 days.

Compared to last year’s iPhone 14 series, the delivery lead times for the iPhone 15 series are longer. Last year, the wait time for the iPhone 14 was only three days, and there was no wait time for the iPhone 14 Plus. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max had wait times of 31 and 39 days respectively.

J.P. Morgan suggests that the longer lead times for this year’s non-Pro models were due to supply ramp issues that have since been resolved. As for the iPhone 15 Pro models, the higher wait times are likely a result of the confluence of early order momentum and slower supply ramp.

In the U.S., the wait time for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is 15 days, while the iPhone 15 Pro has a 28-day delivery lead time. The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a lead time of 35 days. In China, the non-Pro models have a 21-day waiting period, while the lead times for the Pro models have decreased. Germany and the U.K. also experienced improvements in delivery lead times for the iPhone 15 Pro models.

Despite some delays, Apple is managing the strong demand for the iPhone 15 series relatively well, ensuring that customers do not have to wait excessively long for their new phones to arrive.

While many people would love to receive their new iPhone on the very next day, it is important to remember that improved delivery lead times are gradually reducing wait times for customers.
