Exciting Update: Google Calendar to Introduce Custom Holiday Hiding Feature!

Google Calendar Update: Customize Your Holiday Display

A recent APK breakdown has uncovered some exciting news for Google Calendar users. It seems that an upcoming update may give users more control over which holidays they see on their calendar. Here’s what we know so far:

– Currently, users can only choose between showing all holidays or just public holidays in Google Calendar. However, a new feature called “Hide this Holiday” has been discovered in the code of the Android app version 2024.23.0-641736842-release.
– This feature could allow users to select specific holidays to hide, offering a more personalized and clutter-free calendar experience.
– Another new feature called “Selected holidays” was also found in the code, though its exact functionality is still unclear. It may allow users to create a custom list of holidays to display, catering to individual preferences.
– The update may also include renaming options such as “Public and other holidays” to “All holidays” and “National holidays” to “Regional holidays,” making holiday management in Google Calendar more intuitive.

These new features are expected to be available on both the app and web versions of Google Calendar. While Google has not officially announced these updates, their presence in the code suggests that they may be rolled out soon.

Stay tuned for more information on when these exciting customization options will be available for Google Calendar users!
