Exclusive: Pixel 9 Series Makes Early FCC Appearance Ahead of Official Launch!

Mark your calendars for August 13th because that’s when Google will unveil the highly anticipated Pixel 9 series. This year, Google is stepping up its game by introducing not just one, but four new phones. Get ready for an exciting lineup that includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Building on the success of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from last year, Google is shaking things up with a larger Pro model this time around. And if rumors are to be believed, we might even see a new moniker for the Pixel Fold 2 – the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Google has pushed forward its “Made by Google” event by two months to beat Apple’s iPhone 16 launch. By releasing its new phones earlier, Google aims to capture eager consumers who can’t wait to get their hands on the latest tech.

Exciting news for tech enthusiasts – the FCC has officially certified the Pixel 9 series. This means these devices are ready to rock with top-notch features like 5G support, Bluetooth, UWB, Wi-Fi 6E, and NFC connectivity options. Plus, each model comes equipped with Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology for precise item tracking on Google’s Find My Device platform.

The FCC documentation also reveals some interesting model numbers like GR83Y for lightning-fast mmWave connectivity and GEC77/GWVK6 for similar features minus mmWave support. Keep an eye out for more leaks and updates as we countdown to the big reveal on August 13th. Stay tuned to Phones Canada for all the latest buzz on the Pixel 9 series!
