Google Confirms YouTube Vision Pro App on Roadmap: Exciting News for Canadian iPhone Users!

YouTube’s stance on the availability of a native Apple Vision Pro app has changed, according to a spokesperson speaking with The Verge. While last month it was announced that users could simply use a browser to watch videos, YouTube is now excited to support Vision Pro by ensuring a great experience in Safari. The company confirmed that a Vision Pro app is on their roadmap, although no specific timeline was provided.

This shift in position from YouTube may have some ripple effects, as Netflix and Spotify have already stated that native Vision Pro apps will not be coming. With Google and YouTube now showing support for the new Apple headset, it could lead to further developments in the industry.

Although YouTube offers 360 and 3D videos, Apple has indicated that this content may not provide the high-quality spatial experience required for Vision Pro. As a result, an alternative app for Vision Pro is Juno, created by the Canadian founder of the former Reddit app, Apollo.

As we await the launch of the native Apple Vision Pro app for YouTube, it’s clear that exciting developments are on the horizon. Stay tuned for further updates on this front!
