Google Rolls Out March 2024 Software Update for Pixels
Today, Google is rolling out the March 2024 monthly software update (build AP1A.240305.019.A1) to eligible Pixel devices alongside the March 2024 Pixel Feature Drop that introduces new features for Pixel phones, watches, and tablets.

– Pixel 5a (5G)
– Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a
– Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a
– Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold
– Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro
March 2024 Update Changelog:
– Apps: General improvements for stability and performance with system apps
– Assistant: Fix for assistant not responding to verbal commands in certain conditions
– Biometrics: Improvements for fingerprint recognition and response
– Bluetooth: Fixes for audio quality issues and connectivity problems
– Camera: Fix for camera malfunctioning in certain conditions
– Display & Graphics: Fixes for brightness changes and display stability
– Framework: Fixes for launching Google Play store app and multi-finger gestures
– Media: Fix for video playback issues on Google TV
– Sensors: Fixes for vibration notifications on new texts
– System: General improvements for stability and performance
– Telephony: Fixes for call routing and mobile data issues, as well as voice distortion during calls
– User Interface: Various fixes related to face unlock, game dashboard, home screen icons, wallpaper, animations, app icons, internet connection status, notification color theme, taskbar icons, navigation buttons, UI transitions and animations
Wi-Fi: General improvements for connection stability
The rollout has started but will proceed in stages over the next week. If your carrier is locked in the U.S., expect the update after next week. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > Software updates > Check for update on your Pixel device.
