Google Workspace Business Starter subscription price is set to increase from $7.80 CAD per user per month to $9.36 CAD per user per month starting March 19, 2024. This adjustment is part of Google’s efforts to enhance its Workspace apps, including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, and Meet.
However, there is an opportunity for users to save money by opting for an annual subscription at $93.61 CAD per user ($7.80/month), representing a 16.67% discount off the new monthly rate. This option becomes available on February 19, 2024.
The starter business Workspace plan offers a custom and secure business email, 100 participant video meetings, 30GB pooled storage per user, security and management controls, and Standard Support.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the only recent price increase from Google. Last week, the company also raised prices for its Nest Aware subscription plans.
