Honor Magic 6 Expected to Have Outstanding Camera and 66W Charging Capability

Honor’s upcoming flagship, the Magic 6, has been making headlines with leaked information ahead of its release next year. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful processor, has already been confirmed for the Magic 6, but new details have emerged in China.

According to well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, the Magic 6 Pro will feature a remarkable 160-megapixel periscope zoom camera instead of the previously rumored 200-megapixel one. Additionally, all models in the Magic 6 series will come with Omnivision’s OV50K sensor, which utilizes LOFIC (lateral overflow integration capacitor-based CMOS) technology, promising enhanced imaging capabilities. The sensor boasts a 1/1.3 inch size, ensuring a consistent increase in photo quality.

In terms of charging speed, rumors of an upgrade from 66W to 80W for the Magic 6 have been quashed. The unannounced Honor Magic 6 was recently listed on the Chinese 3C authority, confirming that the phone will feature the same 66W maximum charging speed as the Honor Magic 5 series. There is speculation that the Pro model may offer an increase in charging speed, but this remains unconfirmed at this time.
