This means better performance and energy efficiency as Apple can fit more transistors in the chip. The CPU and GPU have seen improvements, boasting faster speeds, better performance per watt ratios, and even hardware raytracing for the first time. Plus, support for the latest Wi-Fi 6E protocols and Thread compatibility for smart home integration.

Moving on to the camera, the iPhone 15 Pro still features the 48 MP main camera sensor, but with upgraded computational photography, you can expect even better 24 MP photos by default. Apple has also made improvements to lens flare reduction, night photography, and HDR algorithms for capturing accurate skin tones. Pro Mode users can now shoot in 48 MP HEIF, saving storage space.

Zoom enthusiasts will be happy to hear that the telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been upgraded to 5x zoom, while the Pro models offer “lossless” zoom levels from 1x to 4.9x using the high-res main camera and software.
