iPhone 15 Series Experiencing Triple-Digit Temperatures Due to Specific Activities

Phones Canada has recently discovered an issue with the iPhone 15 model that has been causing some concern among users. According to a report from 9to5Mac, an infrared photo of the iPhone 15 has revealed that temperatures on the device can reach as high as 116 degrees Fahrenheit. This has left users unable to hold their phones without using a protective case.

Complaints about the overheating problem have been circulating on Twitter, with one user, Majin Bu, noting that the issue seems to occur while the phone is being charged or when the user is using social media. While it is unclear whether the problem is related to the battery, Apple may be able to address it through a software update.

In addition to the overheating problem, Majin Bu has also shared images highlighting some fit and finish issues with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Some of the Pro models have been found to have patches of poorly applied coloring on the titanium chassis, while others have misaligned displays or back glass that is not flush with the enclosure.

Majin Bu also shared a message from an anonymous Apple Genius Bar employee, who revealed that employees at an undisclosed Apple Store were setting up iPhone 15 Pro display units the night before the device’s release. These employees noticed the imperfections with the back glass and felt that the non-Pro models were of higher quality. However, they were instructed by their manager not to discuss these issues with customers.

On the release date, customers at this particular Apple Store faced difficulties setting up their new iPhones, and some even returned their iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max due to hardware and cosmetic imperfections. The Apple Store Genius Bar employee advises potential buyers to delay their purchase of the Pro models until November to ensure a better experience.

Phones Canada recommends staying informed about this issue and following any updates from Apple regarding the potential software fix. As always, we strive to provide our readers with the latest news and updates on all things related to smartphones.
