Leaked Display Specifications for Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Unveiled

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is set to make its debut in January of next year, and while there is still some time left, leaks and rumors are already surfacing about what we can expect. A recent report from Revegnus, a reliable source for Samsung-related leaks (via GSMArena), adds to the anticipation.

According to the report, the entire Galaxy S24 lineup will feature LTPO, M13 displays with an impressive peak brightness of 2,500 nits. This is a departure from the past, where only the Ultra models had LTPO panels capable of reaching such high brightness levels.

Previous speculations indicated that Samsung would adopt a next-gen M13 OLED display panel, which is thinner and more efficient compared to the M12 panel used in the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and the latest iPhone 15 series.

What’s interesting is that Samsung seems to be equalizing the playing field by incorporating the M13 OLED display panel across all models in the Galaxy S24 series. This is a departure from the norm, where this cutting-edge technology was reserved exclusively for the Ultra variant. If these rumors hold true, the Galaxy S24 series will offer a significant display upgrade.

According to the leaked information, the main difference between the displays of the Galaxy S24 and the Plus/Ultra variants lies in the resolution and size. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a spacious 6.8-inch display, the Galaxy S24 Plus with a 6.65-inch screen, and the Galaxy S24 with a 6.1-inch display.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Reports suggest that the series will be powered by the highly-anticipated Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This second-generation 4nm chipset is rumored to be exclusive to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In the United States, it is likely that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will also drive the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, while the Exynos 2400 chipset will be used in other parts of the world.

We can’t wait to see what Samsung has in store for us with the Galaxy S24 series. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official launch.
