Last month, there were expectations of Apple unveiling three new iPads. These included a new 11th-generation basic iPad, a new iPad Air powered by the M2 chipset, and the seventh-gen iPad mini with the 4nm A16 Bionic under the hood. Additionally, it was anticipated that the third-generation Apple Pencil would also be introduced with support for USB-C charging. However, on October 17th, Apple only unveiled the new third-generation Apple Pencil.
The new Apple Pencil charges using a USB-C cable and can be attached magnetically to the side of an iPad for storage. It is priced at $79 or available for 12 monthly payments of $6.58. Although the third-gen Apple Pencil lacks certain features found in the previous models, such as pressure sensitivity and wireless charging, it offers low latency, accuracy, and tilt sensitivity. The pencil features a matte finish and a flat side with a magnet for attachment to an iPad.

To reduce the price to $79, the third-generation Apple Pencil has omitted pressure sensitivity and wireless charging. However, it still offers low latency, accuracy, and tilt sensitivity. The Pencil has a matte finish and a flat side with a magnet for easy attachment to an iPad.
