New dummy leak reveals sleek pale green shade for iPhone 15

Apple is known for offering vibrant color options for their standard iPhones, while the Pro models typically come in more muted shades. However, a recent rumor suggests that the upcoming iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will be available in a range of lively colors including pink/rose gold, green, blue, yellow, orange, and black. Thanks to a leaked image, we now have a good idea of what the green variant might look like.

Prominent leaker Majin Bu recently shared an image of a dummy model of the green iPhone 15 on Twitter. The color appears to be a soft, pale green shade reminiscent of light pistachio green. According to the leaker, this hue will be similar to the one previously seen on the iPhone 12.

In the leaked image, we can only see the rear portion and bottom of the device. Notably, it reveals that the iPhone 15 will feature a USB-C port instead of the traditional Lightning port for charging and data transfer. Additionally, this model showcases slightly softer edges than the current iPhone models.

Majin Bu speculates that the green iPhone 15 may not be available at launch and could potentially be released as a spring color variant next year.

Reports suggest that the regular iPhone 15 models will adopt the Dynamic Island design introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro, eliminating the need for a notch. Additionally, they are expected to incorporate a 48MP primary camera similar to last year’s Pro lineup. Powering these devices will likely be the efficient A16 Bionic chip. Moreover, the standard and Plus models are anticipated to have slimmer bezels and larger camera bumps.

However, only time will tell if these changes are enough to make the new iPhones stand out as some of the best handsets of the year. One advantage that the lower-end models may have over the Pros is that they are not expected to see a price increase, at least in the US.

Apple is set to unveil the new iPhone lineup during the fall Wonderlust event on September 12, with reports indicating that the devices will be available for purchase starting September 22.
