Official calendar reveals that an increased number of Samsung devices will receive Android 14 than previously expected

Samsung started its Android 14-based One UI 6 rollout on October 30th, beginning with the Galaxy S23 series in Europe. Three days later, Galaxy S23 owners in the US also received the latest Android operating system update. Samsung has now provided a schedule for the rest of the eligible devices to download the update.

The stable version of Android 14 was released for Google’s Pixel handsets on October 4, so it only took Samsung less than a month to bring the stable version to its phones. One UI 6 is the latest version of Samsung’s custom Android skin, bringing new features such as a revamped Quick Panel design for Quick Settings, new weather widgets, a new default system font, a simpler Camera app layout, and more photo and video editing options.

Initially, around twenty of Samsung’s devices were confirmed to be getting Android 14, but a new schedule shared on the European community forums revealed that 35 devices will be eligible for the upgrade. The schedule was posted two weeks ago and has been brought to attention by SamMobile. The schedule for the update rollouts is as follows:

– Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra: October 30th
– Galaxy A34 5G, Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5: November 13th
– Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22 Ultra: November 15th
– Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A13 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy S21 5G, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S21 Plus 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4: November 20th
– Galaxy S21 FE 5G: November 24th
– Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G: November 27th
– Galaxy A72: November 30th
– Galaxy A25 5G: December 1st
– Galaxy A04s: December 4th
– Galaxy XCover 5: December 8th
– Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A14, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, Galaxy A05s: Dates yet to be decided

The provided dates are meant for European customers, but given that US-based Galaxy S23 residents were upgraded to Android 14 shortly after their European counterparts, it is likely that owners of the aforementioned models in the US will also not have to wait long for the update. However, the timeline may be subject to change depending on circumstances such as the appearance of bugs.
