These affordable smartphones have been making headlines with leaked pictures and specifications even before Samsung officially announced them. Now, it seems that customers in Malaysia will have the opportunity to purchase these devices very soon.

The Galaxy A05 and A05s have been listed on Samsung’s official website, although the details regarding pricing and availability have not been provided yet. The Galaxy A05 is available in three different colors: Black, Light Green, and Silver. On the other hand, the Galaxy A05s comes in Black and Light Green.

Visually, the main difference between these two phones is the camera setup. The Galaxy A05s features a triple camera system, while the Galaxy A05 only has a dual camera setup. Other than that, the phones have similar specifications. However, it is worth noting that the Galaxy A05s is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, while the Galaxy A05 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chip.

Both the Galaxy A05 and A05s come in a 6/128GB variant, at least in Malaysia. These affordable handsets boast 6.7-inch displays, with the Galaxy A05 supporting HD+ resolution and the Galaxy A05s offering better FHD+ resolution.

In terms of camera capabilities, both phones feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. The Galaxy A05s also includes an additional 2-megapixel macro sensor. Additionally, both smartphones pack a large 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W charging.

The Galaxy A05 and A05s come with Android 13 straight out of the box. Samsung is expected to provide at least two major OS upgrades and regular security updates for these devices. While it remains unclear which other countries will receive the Galaxy A05 and A05s, it is evident that the Galaxy A05s will be the more expensive option based on its specifications.
