The iPhone 15 Pro Max is Beat by the Display Spec of This New Flagship

Phones Canada team is excited to share the latest news about the new Redmi K70, which has recently launched in China. This flagship phone, which is expected to be released worldwide as the Poco F6, comes with some impressive features that are worth mentioning.

The Redmi K70 boasts a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1440p resolution that was jointly developed with TCL. It can output up to 4,000 nits of brightness, surpassing the Xiaomi 14 Pro and currently holds the top spot in the display brightness race. Additionally, it features a 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate, 3840 Hz PWM dimming, and can output 12-bit colors.

Under the hood, the Redmi K70 is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and is available in various memory configurations, including 12GB/256GB and 24GB/1TB. The phone also comes with a redesigned cooling system that provides 5000 square millimeters of surface area to keep the phone cool during heavy-load scenarios.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi K70 lineup features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto Portrait camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the back, along with a 16MP front camera.

The Redmi K70 Pro comes with a hefty 5,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging, allowing for a 0–100% charge in just 18 minutes.

In China, the Redmi K70 Pro starts at CNY3299 (around $465), with the higher-end version costing CNY4399 ($620). When the phone launches globally under the Poco branding, these prices are expected to vary.

We’re curious to know what our readers think about the Redmi K70. Do we really need 4,000 nits of brightness, or is it just a marketing gimmick? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
