The Next iPad Pro Expected to Feature an Excessive Amount of Storage

Apple is rumored to release a new iPad Pro in 2024, which is expected to be the biggest upgrade since 2018. In addition to the previously rumored improvements, it seems that the new iPad Pro will offer a new storage option.

Currently, the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros are available in five storage configurations: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. While most users may not need 2TB on a tablet, it can be useful for those who shoot a lot of high-resolution videos.

According to a South Korean blogger, Apple might be planning to introduce a 4TB storage option for the new iPad Pro. However, this rumor should be taken with caution as 4TB seems excessive for a tablet.

Nevertheless, with the increasing usage of media files on tablets, there may be consumers who would be willing to pay for an iPad Pro with 4TB of storage.

Rumors also suggest that Apple wants to position the 2024 iPad Pro as a laptop-like device. The company is reportedly planning to release a revamped aluminum Magic Keyboard with a larger trackpad for the new lineup.

The new iPad Pro models may also feature OLED screens and be powered by the next-generation M3 chip. The larger model is expected to have a slightly bigger 13-inch screen.

In light of the potential 4TB storage option, it is speculated that Apple may increase the base storage to 256GB. This would make sense as offering six storage options would be excessive, and the 128GB model does not support ProRes video.

Additionally, since higher-capacity iPad Pro models typically have more RAM than base models, there is a possibility that the 4TB iPad Pro may come with 24GB or even 32GB of RAM.

Overall, the 2024 iPad Pro is expected to bring significant upgrades and improvements, making it an enticing option for both professional and everyday users.
