Ultimate Battery Performance Test: Sony Xperia 10 VI Charging Review

The Sony Xperia 10 VI boasts a hefty 5,000mAh battery, making it stand out among compact phones with a 6.1-inch size. But is it truly the best battery on a compact phone? Let’s find out with our PhoneArena Battery Score testing results!

After thorough testing, the Xperia 10 VI scored an impressive 6 hours and 53 minutes, surpassing competitors like the Pixel 8a and Galaxy A55. However, it falls short compared to the OnePlus 12R in the battery life competition.

Here’s a breakdown of the test results:

– Browsing Test: The Xperia 10 VI achieved nearly 11 hours of web browsing, which is slightly below average. This result is surprising considering its predecessor, the Xperia 10 V, scored over 28 hours in this test. The reason behind this anomaly remains unclear.

– YouTube Test: The Xperia 10 VI excelled in YouTube video streaming, lasting nearly 13 and a half hours. This performance outshines competitors like the Pixel 8a and Galaxy A55 by a significant margin.

– 3D Gaming Test: Scoring about 8 and a half hours in our gaming test, the Xperia falls close to the average in this category. This test focuses on stressing the phone’s GPU rather than its CPU.

– Charging Test: It takes approximately 1 hour and 43 minutes to fully charge the Xperia’s massive battery. While not lightning-fast like the OnePlus 12R (which charges fully in just 27 minutes), it still offers decent charging speed.

– Wireless Charging: Unfortunately, wireless charging is not supported on the Xperia 10 VI.
