Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile is excited to announce the reintroduction of its home internet services and the launch of a new customizable TV option, designed to offer a comprehensive and affordable entertainment package to its valued postpaid customers.
Freedom’s internet services make use of Rogers’ cable network infrastructure, delivering speeds ranging from 30Mbps to 1Gbps. Initially available in select areas with plans for expansion, the promotional pricing for the first 12 months includes:
– 30Mbps at $22.50/month
– 100Mbps at $35/month
– 500Mbps at $42.50/month
– 1Gbps at $47.50/month
Each internet plan includes a modem and an Eero 6 router, equipped with Wi-Fi 6 technology to enhance internet speed and efficiency. Additional Eero 6 routers are available for rental for households needing extended coverage.
**Freedom TV is Now Available on iOS, Apple TV, Android, and More**
In addition to the internet services, Freedom is introducing Freedom TV (powered by VMedia), allowing customers to personalize their TV viewing experience. Starting with the Starter TV package at an introductory price of $10 per month (after a $9 credit), customers can add theme packs and à la carte channels to tailor their preferences.
The starter pack includes major Canadian and U.S. networks like CBC, CTV, Global, CityTV, TVA, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, Fox, Weather Network, ICI, AMI, APTN, CPAC and more.
Theme packs are priced at $20/month with options for a sports package at $19/month ($1 off promo; normally $20), Movies+, Stack TV and News and Entertainment packs.
Customers can also choose from a range of à la carte picks priced from $3 to $8 per month or opt for bundles like pick 10 for $1.75/month or pick 20 for $1.50/month.
Freedom TV is accessible on various devices including Apple TV, Android TV, Google Chromecast, and mobile devices through the Freedom TV app (from VMedia). The app offers features such as pausing live TV and watching previously aired shows up to seven days later with the “Look Back” feature.
Subscribing to both internet and TV services is made easy through the ‘My Account’ portal on Freedom Mobile’s website or app. Customers can select their plans with equipment shipped directly to them along with setup instructions for a hassle-free installation process.
