This development comes as Salesforce, Slack’s parent company, opens up access to these cutting-edge tools for a wider audience.

Previously exclusive to Enterprise plans, these AI tools can now be accessed by all customers through a new Slack AI add-on. Priced at $10 per user per month for Slack Pro and Business+ plans, this add-on unlocks a range of generative capabilities that enhance the user experience.

Some key features of Slack’s AI tools include:
– Personalized and intelligent answers through advanced search capabilities
– Channel recaps that highlight key information
– Thread summaries for quick insights

One of the standout aspects of these native features is their user-friendliness – no training required! Additionally, we want to assure our customers that their data is secure. We do not share customer data with LLM providers or use it to train large language models (LLMs).

Our AI infrastructure is hosted within Slack itself, ensuring that your data stays in-house and protected. While initially available only in English, we are excited to announce that Slack’s AI tools now support Spanish and Japanese languages too, with more languages on the way.
