Verizon to Increase Monthly Prices for Existing Customers Again in March

Verizon to raise monthly prices for many existing customers in March

Verizon and T-Mobile used to be in a fierce competition for the title of best US wireless service provider but that seems to have changed. Verizon is now raising its monthly prices, and this is not the first time they have done so. Existing customers will see a $4 monthly price hike on their older Mix & Match plans starting in March. Customers on myPlan options will not be affected.

This move by Verizon seems to be pressuring subscribers to switch to newer and better plans. T-Mobile and AT&T have also employed similar strategies in the past to increase revenue. The timing and value of this price hike by Verizon are especially concerning, coming so soon after a large controversy over a demonstrably unfair fee.

Overall, this $4 monthly price increase by Verizon seems to be unfair and will likely cause issues for many existing customers. With no intention to discontinue this fee, and the possibility of it increasing even more in the future, subscribers are rightfully disappointed.
