Well-Connected Journalist Announces Official Release Date for iPhone 15 Line

If you’re waiting for the latest iPhone models, we have some inside information on when Apple might release them. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the iPhone 15 series is expected to be introduced on September 12th or 13th, with the devices going on sale on September 22nd. Pre-orders could start on September 15th based on past trends.

Wireless carriers have also advised their employees not to call in sick on September 13th, which indicates that it may be the date for Apple’s new product event. On this day, wireless providers usually experience a surge in customer inquiries about the new iPhone models.

So mark your calendars for September 12th or 13th for the big announcement, including the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Pre-orders may begin on September 15th, followed by the official release of the new phones on September 22nd. Please note that these dates are based on rumors and subject to change. Feel free to use a pencil with an eraser to mark your calendar.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to come with significant upgrades this year. These upgrades may include the addition of the Dynamic Island, 48MP stacked sensors for the Wide main camera, the 4nm A16 Bionic chip (enhanced 5nm version), and larger batteries.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to feature a new titanium chassis. However, the most significant change is the use of the brand new A17 Bionic SoC produced using TSMC’s N3B 3nm process node. This could result in a substantial increase in the number of transistors compared to the A16 Bionic, translating to better performance and energy efficiency.

The iPhone 15 Pro models will also see an increase in RAM to 8GB from 6GB, while the non-Pro models will remain at 6GB. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the first iPhone to include a periscope lens, offering improved optical zoom from 3x to 5x-6x. However, these upgrades might come at a higher price, with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max potentially being priced $100 and $200 higher, respectively.

All four phones will feature a USB-C port instead of the proprietary Lightning port, with the iPhone 15 Pro models offering faster data transfer speeds compared to the non-Pro models.

Now is the time to start planning your strategy. Which model do you prefer? What specifications best suit your needs? Keep in mind that the best deals and offers will be revealed once the new phones are officially announced.
