Bell Canada Announces Price Increase for Fibe Internet and Apple Watch Plans
Bell Canada is implementing a price increase for certain customers on Fibe internet and older Apple Watch plans starting July 1, 2024. Here’s what you need to know:
– Selected customers on Fibe internet will see a $5 per month increase, with examples like Fibe 3.0 (3 Gbps) going up to $145 per month in July.
– Current pricing on Bell’s website shows Gigabit Fibe 3.0 at $110/month on a 2-year contract, while other plans range from $85 to $140 per month.
– Customers on older Apple Watch plans priced at $10 per month will experience a $3 price hike to $13 per month starting in April.
In their recent Q1 earnings report, Bell’s parent company BCE reported a decrease in profit and operating revenue compared to the previous year. Despite this, Bell saw an increase in net postpaid wireless subscribers, marking its best performance since 2018.
If you’re a Bell customer, it’s recommended to review your monthly statement to check for any changes in your internet and Apple Watch plan prices. Remember, staying connected is essential in today’s world – even when voicing concerns about price hikes.
