Breaking Records: Nothing Phone (2a) Sells 100,000 Units in Just 24 Hours!

Nothing Phone (2a) Breaks Sales Records with 100,000 Units Sold on Launch Day

Nothing, the London-based tech company, recently launched its first budget smartphone, the Phone (2a), as a more affordable option to its higher-end counterpart, the Nothing Phone (2). Priced at €329 ($349), the Phone (2a) hit the market on March 12 and quickly made a splash by selling an impressive 100,000 units on its launch day. In fact, 60,000 of those units were sold within the first hour alone.

This milestone achievement is significant for Nothing as it strives to establish itself as a serious contender in the global smartphone market, challenging well-established brands like Apple’s iPhone. Carl Pei, CEO and co-founder of Nothing, expressed his gratitude to the community, partners, and team for their support in achieving this record-breaking feat.

Key features of the Nothing Phone (2a) include:
– Signature see-through design
– 6.7-inch OLED screen
– Dual 50-megapixel rear cameras
– Increased battery capacity of 5,000mAh

Despite its improved battery capacity, real-world testing will be necessary to confirm Nothing’s claim that the battery holds at least 90% of its original capacity for a minimum of 1,000 full charge cycles.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is currently available in the UK, Europe, and the US. However, acquiring it in the US requires signing up for Nothing’s Developer Program through their official website. According to co-founder Akis Evangelidis, now may not be the ideal time for a full-scale launch in the US.

Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative budget smartphone from Nothing as it continues to make waves in the competitive smartphone market.
