Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Fit 3, the latest addition to its fitness tracker lineup. The Galaxy Fit 3 features an aluminum body and a 1.6-inch display, offering a 45% wider screen compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Fit 2. This new design makes the fitness tracker look more like a smartwatch, allowing users to easily view detailed insights at a glance. It is available in three color options: gray, silver, and pink gold.
Key features of the Galaxy Fit 3 include:
– Personalization: Users can choose from over 100 preset watch faces or set their own photos as the background. They can also mix and match bands to suit their fashion preferences and daily activities with just a simple click of a button.
– Long Battery Life: The Galaxy Fit 3 battery can last up to 13 days on one charge.
– Health Monitoring Tools: The fitness tracker offers various health and activity monitoring features such as sleep tracking, snore detection (when paired with a Samsung phone), Spo2 monitoring, stress level monitoring, heart rate tracking, and support for over 100 different workout options.
In addition to these features, Samsung has introduced safety features to the Galaxy Fit 3 for the first time. These include Fall Detection and Emergency SOS capabilities. The device is also rated 5ATM and IP68, making it protected against dust and water.
The Galaxy Fit 3 also offers enhanced connectivity within the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. It serves as a remote control for smartphone cameras, allowing photo captures and setting timers with Camera Remote. Additionally, it can be used as a controller for playing and managing media on connected devices.
Availability:
The Galaxy Fit 3 will be available from February 23 in select markets; however, pricing details have not been revealed yet.
Samsung’s Head of Mobile Experience for Samsung Electronics Philippines emphasized that the new fitness tracker underscores Samsung’s commitment to providing accessible resources that encourage everyday wellness and inspire everyone to work on their best selves.
