Enhance Your Memories: Google Photos Introduces Personalized Activity-Based Customization

Google Photos has introduced a new feature to enhance your photo viewing experience, called “Activity-based personalization.” This feature aims to make your cherished memories more relevant and enjoyable by learning from your interactions within the app’s “Memories” section.

Here’s what you need to know about activity-based personalization:

– This feature allows Google Photos to learn from the way you engage with Memories, such as photos and videos you linger on or skip.
– By default, activity-based personalization is enabled to provide you with a personalized experience right from the start.
– You have the option to disable this setting at any time, which will delete data about your Memories interactions from the last 18 months. Rest assured, this won’t impact your photo library or other Memories.

To activate or deactivate activity-based personalization:

– Access the feature through the web version of Google Photos by visiting photos.google.com on your computer.
– Click on “Settings” at the top right of the page and scroll down to the “Memories” sub-section.
– Look for the “Activity-based personalization” toggle alongside other memory customization options like “Time-based memories” and “Themed memories.”

Google Photos continues to be a top choice for managing and enjoying photos and videos. With this new feature, users can further personalize their experience within the app. Stay tuned for more updates as Google Photos strives to offer innovative features for preserving your precious memories.
