Enhanced Android Auto Feature: Double Message Check Before Sending (Possible Bug?)

Android Auto, along with other hands-free services, is designed to prioritize safety while driving. These apps are regularly updated to enhance your driving experience, but a recent update seems to have caused a bit of confusion.

**Android Auto Update:**
– Users have noticed a peculiar change in the messaging feature of Android Auto
– Previously, sending a message using voice command was straightforward: summon the Assistant, dictate the message, confirm, and send
– Now, users report that after confirming the message, the Assistant reads it out loud once more before sending
– This extra step doesn’t seem to serve any practical purpose and is causing some frustration among users
– The ability to change this setting has not been found yet

**Additional Issues:**
– Some users are experiencing early disabling of dictation by the Assistant, but this seems less widespread
– It remains uncertain whether these changes are intentional or a bug

While this new behavior may add a few seconds to the process, it doesn’t necessarily enhance usability. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
