Enhanced Telecommunications: Google Meet Introduces Dynamic ‘Adaptive Audio’ Feature

Google Meet Introduces Adaptive Audio Feature for Better Meeting Experience

Google has introduced a new “adaptive audio” feature for Meet users, aimed at syncing the microphones of all laptops in a room to eliminate echo and audio feedback. This innovative feature automatically detects multiple laptops in a room and synchronizes the mics and speakers, ensuring a much-improved audio experience for all participants.

Key Points:
– Adaptive audio feature enhances audio quality by syncing mics of all laptops in a room.
– Offers flexibility to users when meeting rooms are unavailable.
– Allows organizations to use non-traditional meeting spaces like lounges and cafes.

This new feature is activated by default but can be turned off by navigating to Settings ➜ Audio ➜ Adaptive audio. It is currently rolling out to Rapid Release domains, with an expected appearance within two weeks. Scheduled Release domains will receive the update starting June 5, with visibility within 1-3 days.

Adaptive audio will be available for Google Workspace customers with Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Business, Gemini Education, Gemini Education Premium, and AI Meetings and Messaging add-on subscriptions.

Stay tuned for an enhanced virtual meeting experience with Google Meet’s adaptive audio feature!
