Exciting News: Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2.1 Update Released with Pixel Bug Fixes by Google!

Google has just announced the release of Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2.1 (Build AP21.240305.005), a minor update to Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2 that focuses on bug fixes for Pixel devices. This update, which comes about a month after the release of Beta 2, also includes optimizations for performance, stability, connectivity, interactivity, and camera features.

The update is approximately 414MB in size and is now available for the following Pixel devices: Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet series.

Here are some of the key fixes included in Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2.1:
– Resolved an issue that caused a device’s launcher to crash when accessing recent apps.
– Fixed a problem where some Pixel Tablet devices were not charging while connected to the dock.
– Addressed issues with swiping gestures that did not always function correctly.
– Improved the layout of notifications on the lock screen by reducing unnecessary padding.
– Fixed recurring “Application not responding” errors for system and user apps.
– Resolved issues with displaying content on the inner screen of Pixel Fold devices when unfolded.
– Fixed problems related to wallpaper settings backup and “Quick Tap to start actions” gesture functionality.

This update will be automatically pushed to eligible devices over-the-air within five days. To install it immediately, navigate to “Settings” > “System” > “Software updates” on your device. Make sure to sign up for Google’s beta program at g.co/androidbeta to receive future updates on your Pixel device promptly.
