Exciting News: Google Bard’s Potential Rebrand to Gemini Coming Soon with Paid Tier and Android App

Google is making major changes to its AI chatbot, Bard, which is set to be rebranded as “Gemini,” signaling its integration with the newest “Gemini” AI model. In addition to the rebranding, Google plans to launch a companion Android app and introduce a new paid tier called “Gemini Advanced.”

The rebranding to Gemini is expected to take place on February 7th, according to a leaked changelog reported by 9to5Google. This update aims to give all Gemini users access to Google’s top-notch AI models, reflecting the name “Gemini,” which represents a broader set of capabilities.

The new Gemini Advanced tier will offer enhanced multi-modal capabilities, improved coding support, and advanced file and data analysis capabilities. It will be available in over 150 countries and territories, aligning with Google’s recent multi-language support for Bard.

In addition to the website changes, the new Gemini will also be available as an app on Android through the Google Play Store and on iOS as part of the existing Google app. Initially launching in English in the U.S., it will soon expand to other languages and countries.

Furthermore, Gemini will be available on the web in Canada in both English and French, marking a significant expansion from Bard’s previous limitations. The Gemini app will also be available soon, initially only in English.

Overall, these changes represent a significant milestone for Google’s AI chatbot. The goal is clear: make Gemini accessible and powerful for users worldwide. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting transformation!
