Exciting Updates: Apple Introduces Power Button to iPhone & Custom Text Scheduling in iOS 18!

Are you having trouble figuring out how to turn off your iPhone? Don’t worry, you’re not alone! Apple has made this process a bit tricky for some users, but we’re here to help. Here’s a simple guide on how to power off your iPhone depending on the model you have:

– For iPhones with a home button: Press the side button and then drag the slider to turn off the device.
– For iPhones without a home button (models with Face ID): Press and hold the side button and either volume button simultaneously, then drag the Power Off slider to shut down the phone.

But wait, there’s more! In the upcoming iOS 18 update, Apple will introduce a new way to power off your iPhone. Simply swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to access the updated Control Center. Tap on the power icon at the top right of the screen, and voila! The Power Off slider will appear for you to turn off your device easily.

In addition to this feature, iOS 18 will also bring “Send Later” for Messages. This handy tool allows you to schedule text messages at specific times. While it may seem time-consuming, it can be quite useful for staying organized with your messaging.

To use “Send Later,” make sure you have iOS 18 installed. If you’re running the developer beta version of iOS 18, follow these steps:
– Open Messages and choose a thread or start a new message.
– Tap on the Plus icon (+) and select “Send Later.”
– Choose the date and time for your scheduled message.
– Type in your message in the designated field and hit send.

If you’re eager to try out these new features but hesitant about installing an unstable beta version of iOS 18, don’t worry! The public beta will be released next month with a more stable version expected in September alongside the arrival of new iPhone models.

Some iPhone users can’t wait for these updates and have already jumped on board with the developer beta. If you decide to join them, remember to back up your data before making any changes. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Apple as we approach the release of iOS 18!
