Experience the Stunning Display of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 – How Does iPhone 15 Compare in Price?

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 display finally caught up to Google’s Pixel series, surprising many who expected Apple and Samsung to lead the way. The new display is part of the latest OLED LTPO panel generation, ensuring high brightness, wide gamut color credibility, smooth refresh rate, and class-leading reflectivity for easy outdoor visibility.

In 2024, all members of Samsung’s S24 series now come with LTPO displays, a significant improvement over the older LTPS screen technology. This upgrade not only allows for a granular 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate but also enhances brightness and reduces power consumption for longer battery life.

The iPhone 15 display has been outperformed by the Galaxy S24 in terms of color representation and brightness levels. Despite both phones costing $799 for the base version, Samsung’s flagship now offers better specs compared to Apple’s counterpart.

This gap in specs has made it increasingly difficult for Apple to justify its price point. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ now rival even Google’s Pixel line with top-notch display quality, while offering a much smoother experience with variable refresh rates and peak brightness levels that exceed the iPhone 15.

With rumors suggesting that Apple will not upgrade the display refresh on the upcoming iPhone 16 or introduce a dynamic refresh rate at all, it seems that Samsung’s Galaxy S24 will continue to outshine its competitors at the same price point. This further raises questions about why Apple still asks $799 for its base iPhones when they are being outperformed by their competitors.
