Google introduces new feature for sharing in Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Google has recently announced some exciting updates to its apps, including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drawings. The new updates bring expanded functionality to these apps, making it easier for users to share documents and media across Workspace.

In Google Drive, a new sharing feature has been added that allows users to share a link to a specific time in a video. This will make it much more convenient for users to share video content with others.

Additionally, new dropdown options have been introduced on the sharing button in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drawings. This new dropdown menu offers quick actions such as pending access requests and the option to “Copy link,” providing users with more efficient ways to share their documents.

These updates are now rolling out to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. According to Google, the new functionality will be available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts. It may take some time for these updates to propagate to everyone, so users are encouraged to be patient if they don’t see the new dropdown menu right away.
