Samsung’s latest One UI 6.0 update has brought a plethora of changes to the user interface and pre-installed apps. One such app is the Game Launcher, which received updates even before the stable version of One UI 6.0 was released.
The Game Launcher will now be known as Gaming Hub starting from Android OS version 14. However, in some menus, “Game Launcher” and “Gaming Hub” may still be used interchangeably. It is important to note that earlier OS versions will also receive updates to reflect this name change.
More importantly, Samsung has bigger plans for Gaming Hub. According to SamMobile, the app will receive numerous additional features over time. Samsung describes Gaming Hub as a gaming platform that not only organizes your installed games but also offers convenient features and a diverse gaming experience.
Although no new features or major improvements have been introduced in the latest update, Samsung’s decision to inform users about its future plans suggests that Gaming Hub will play a crucial role in the company’s gaming initiatives.
Stay tuned for further updates and enhancements as Gaming Hub evolves into a comprehensive gaming platform.
