Netflix Intends to Construct ‘Netflix Houses’ Offering Entertainment, Retail, and Dining Experiences across the US by 2025

Netflix is expanding its reach and planning to create its own physical spaces called Netflix Houses. These locations will go beyond binge-watching and serve as hubs where fans can fully immerse themselves in the worlds of their favorite shows.

The concept of Netflix House includes shopping for show-themed clothes, enjoying themed food, and even participating in unique experiences like a Squid Game-style obstacle course. These properties, set to be launched in the US by 2025, will combine retail, dining, and live entertainment. Netflix also plans to expand globally in the future.

This move signifies Netflix’s entry into permanent physical locations, highlighting its significant investment in promoting its content and building fan communities.

Josh Simon, Netflix’s VP of Consumer Products, stated in an interview, “We’ve seen how much fans love to immerse themselves in the world of our movies and TV shows, and we’ve been thinking a lot about how we take that to the next level.”

At Netflix House, visitors can expect rotating installations featuring ticketed shows inspired by popular series, as well as restaurants serving dishes from unscripted shows. The dining options will range from casual bites like burgers and fries to more upscale dining, desserts, and spirits.

While the permanent locations for Netflix House are still being determined, the company has previously experimented with temporary stores showcasing Stranger Things merchandise in cities like Las Vegas and Chicago.

Furthermore, Netflix has recently ventured into gaming by introducing games on TV through a new mobile app for game controllers. There are also rumors of potential subscription price increases, but these might come with additional features. Regardless, the upcoming Netflix-themed hangouts are sure to provide a positive experience for fans.
