New iPhone 17 models rumored to include ProMotion and Always-On displays – A game-changer in telecommunications!

The upcoming iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus are rumored to feature some exciting new display technology that was previously only available on the Pro models. Here’s what you need to know about these potential changes:

– Industry sources suggest that the iPhone 17 series will come with OLED displays using low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LPTO) panels.
– These panels will allow for a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz, giving users a smoother scrolling experience, known as ProMotion by Apple.
– The displays can also be slowed down to just 1Hz when needed, enabling features like an Always-On display.
– If these rumors turn out to be true, consumers won’t have to splurge on the priciest models to enjoy these advanced display features.

Apple has not confirmed any of this information yet, but reports indicate that key display suppliers are already gearing up for production. BOE is reportedly working on supplying LTPO-type OLED panels for the iPhone 17 series, with samples already in Apple’s hands.

While details are still scarce, industry insiders and reliable tipsters like Ross Young support the idea that the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus will be the first non-Pro models to offer a 120Hz refresh rate in 2025.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the expected September 2025 release date for these exciting new iPhones!
