Last week, Nothing released an update for their mid-range budget-friendly star: the Nothing Phone (2a). While this update brought enhanced overall camera performance, improved Portrait Mode, enhanced camera saturation and tone, it left Nothing Phone (2) owners feeling a bit neglected.
Nothing’s flagship, the Nothing Phone (2), seemed to be on the backburner according to some vocal owners sharing their opinions on Twitter. But fear not! Yesterday, Nothing rolled out Nothing OS 2.5.3 for Phone (2) with exciting new features and improvements:
– New customization options
– April security patch
– Ability to apply Nothing Icon Pack solely to the home screen for better accessibility in the App Drawer
– Improved icon organization on the Home Screen by enabling users to scroll through pages while holding app icons
In addition to these updates, there are various improvements included in this latest release:
– Resolved a connectivity issue with car Bluetooth media players
– Optimized animations in certain scenarios for smoother transitions
– Updated Android Security Patch to April 2024
– Improved system stability for enhanced overall performance
Despite these positive changes, some Phone (2) owners are still expressing concerns about issues like battery drain, camera performance updates, and heat management problems. They’re calling for fixes and new features to address these issues:
“We need an update in the Camera Department, as well as solutions for battery draining and heating issues.” – Tirtha Shankha Bachhar
“Facing heating issues, battery draining problems with no camera update yet. Please resolve these issues.” – Shahidh afshar
The feedback from users highlights the importance of addressing these key concerns in future updates to ensure a seamless user experience with the Nothing Phone series. Stay tuned for more updates and improvements from Phones Canada!
