OnePlus recently unveiled its latest flagship, the Ace 3 (known internationally as OnePlus 12R) at a major event in China. The company also introduced the affordable OnePlus Buds 3 earphones, which had many of their specs leaked prior to the official announcement, and were confirmed during OnePlus’ launch event.
The OnePlus Buds 3 are equipped with dual drivers, similar to the technology inside the OnePlus Buds Pro, and feature active noise cancelation of up to 49dB. An interesting feature is the implementation of an intelligent mode that can adjust the active noise cancelation levels according to the environment.
The earbuds come with IP55 certification and a built-in 3-mic system that adapts the ANC levels based on the environment. The earbuds contain a 58 mAh battery and are accompanied by a charging case with a larger 520 mAh battery.
As for the design, the OnePlus Buds 3 weigh less than 10 grams combined and have a glossy finish. They are available for pre-order in China in Black or Blue for around $65. While a global release date has not been announced, the OnePlus Buds 3 are expected to launch worldwide, with potential price adjustments depending on the market.
